The Kingston Borough shooting team are heading for the finals of the London inter-boroughs shooting competition after winning the first two primary rounds.

Nine London boroughs entered the competition, with the top five going through to the final at Ham & Petersham on Saturday, September 5. Kingston’s team is traditionally strong, with the borough benefitting from the strength of Surbiton Postal Rifle Club.

City of London, Richmond, Wandsworth and Hillingdon are the other boroughs to qualify for the finals.

The course of fire in the primary rounds is one deliberate and one time-limit target per shooter over 25 yards. The final is disc breaking over 100 yards.
