Three members of Sutton Runners took part in last Friday’s Wedding Day 7km race.
Mark Aldred was 178th (31.50), with James Barber 179th (31.51) and Penny Hubbard 250th (34.08).
Sutton athletes took part in four different 5km time trials.
At the Banstead Woods parkrun, the six Sutton Runners representatives were led by seventh placed Neil McAlpine 19.18).
He was followed by Jim Mundy in 21st (20:42), Claire Ballhatchet 77th (26:09), Kaye Benjamin 99th (29:20), John Daley 106th (29:52) and Pauline Woodman 120th (32:09).
Steve Barber finished second in Richmond Park (18:05) with Tony Moorhouse in 17th (20:03) and Graham Miller in 20th (20:29) also recording personal bests.
First-timers Lauren Jones (22.12) and Anita Hedges (24.32) were 35th and 63rd respecitvely, with James Barber 65th (24.44).
Tony Gallagher took part in the Roundshaw Time Trial for the first time and completed in 33.57 (52nd).
Finally at the Wimbledon Time Trial, three Sutton Runners took part; Jonathan Senker 20.12 (23rd). Earl Tulloch 20.25 PB (27th) and Jenny Sinfield 23.31 (67th).
Then on Sunday 2nd August, four members of Sutton Runners took part in the Milland Valley Trail Race. A 13-mile race over tracks, paths and quiet lanes around the village of Milland. Jim Mundy completed in 1.53.43 (136th), Terry Dighton 1.55.51 (983rd), Neil Richardson 2.04.28 (205th), Susan Boros 2.06.55 (228th).
At the Cardiff Blackweir 5k Time Trial on Saturday 1st August. Steve Wise of Sutton Runners took part for the first time and completed in 20.02 (18th place).
On Sunday 2nd August Mary Lamont took part in the Indian Queens Half Marathon and finished in 553rd place in a time of 2.07.22.
