An enthusiastic crowd and several tight matches made for an exciting finals day at Carshalton Lawn Tennis Club on Saturday, writes Dawn Chamarette.
Jim Deegan retained the senior men’s title with a 6-3 6-0 victory over Gerry Coquet and also retained the men’s veterans cup.
Charlotte Nutting retained the women’s title with victory over Alexia King, while Sally Fleming won the veterans’ title.
Nutting teamed up with Sam Coulson to beat Richard Parnell and Alexia King in the mixed doubles.
