Tadworth AC’s David Williamson finished 292nd out of 1,900 competitors in the London Duathlon at Richmond Park last weekend.
Williamson completed the 14km run and 20km bike ride in one hour 45 minutes 39 seconds, five minutes faster than last year.
Mary Matthews was 1,123rd overall and first in the women’s over-55 class in 2:02.45.
Veteran cross country runner Geoff Newton took the muddy and boggy conditions in his stride at the Eridge Park 10-miles race in Kent.
He was men’s over-60 winner in 1:18.25, finishing 28th out of 366 runners overall.
Tadworth’s Chloe Hawkins finished 1,499th out of 11,000 runners in the Bristol half-marathon, clocking 1:40.14. She was using the race as preparation for next month’s Abingdon Marathon.
