Jim Mundy edged closer to his 300th marathon by taking part in two events last weekend.
He finished Saturday’s 3 to Go trail marathon on Saturday in five hours nine minutes and then completed Sunday’s Robin Hood Marathon in 3:49.12.
Peter Sturton (1:48.08) was Sutton Runners’ first finisher in the London Duathlon, made up of 9km run, 20km bike ride and 5km run.
Other Sutton Runners: Mark Aldred 1:54.14, Penny Hubbard 1:59.24, Jackie Arrowsmith 2:12.00.
Steven Barber completed Sunday’s Richmond Park orienteering half marathon in 1:28.00 Barber also finished fourth in the orevious day’s Banstead Woods 5km parkrun in a personal best time of 17:50.
Other Sutton Runners: Peter Sturton 20:23, Lauren Jones 21.16, Ange Norris 31.23, Patricia Cue 32.27.
Martin Giles finished fifth in the Richmond Park 5km parkrun in 18:29.
Other Sutton Runners: 19 Earl Tulloch 20.07, 26 Graham Miller 20.51, 27 Tony Moorhouse 20.52.
Sisters Jenny and Louise Sinfield, competing in fancy dress, clocked 1:05.05 and 1:05.17 respectively in a charity 10km run at Milton Keynes.
