Tadworth AC's Dave Williamson had a superb run in the Great North Run at Newcastle on Sunday.
Despite having to contend with the crush of 38,000 runners crossing the Tyne Bridge, David completed the 13.1 mile course in a time of 1 hour 25 minutes and 14 seconds, and was officially placed 245th.
Tadworth's David Freeman joined a field of 28,000 for the Berlin Marathon.
In hot conditions David put in a scorching performance to finish 123rd in 2 hours 36 minutes and 14 seconds, 14th in the men's over-40 class.
