Collingwood’s Allan Rumbles completed the 55-mile cross country course from London to Brighton in 11 hours 19 minutes seconds on Sunday. It was his 84th marathon.
Also on Sunday, clubmate Steve Cooney was among the top 10 finishers in completing the 27-miler Green Chain Marathon, which took in Thamesmead, Erith, Plumstead Common, Mottingham, Chislehurst and back to Avery Park, in three hours 54 minutes 14 seconds.
In Saturday’s Banstead Woods 5km parkrun, Andy Stalley produced a course best, while Kate Langley had her first run for the club.
