Epsom & Ewell Harriers have won the Southern Women’s League Senior Division Two title.
They maintained their unbeaten record for the year by finishing joint winners in their final with Ashford.
Both clubs are set to be promoted to the top division.
Veteran Julia Machin won four events – the high jump (1.70m), long jump (5.65m), triple jump (11.55m) and B javelin (31.13m).
Emily Parker won the 800m (2:17.7) and Isabel Brinsden the 1,500m (4:59.6). Zoe West won both B races.
Other Epsom winners: Lucy Barnard (B long jump, B triple jump), Diane Norman (B shot), Wendy Dunsford (B hammer).
Result: 1= Ashford, Epsom & Ewell 98; 3 Worthing 62; 4 Woking 59.
Serpentine came fourth in their match at Kingsmeadow.
Result: 1 Crawley 102; 2 Herts Phoenix 89; 3 Newbury 74; 4 Serpentine 63.
Final table: 1 Epsom & Ewell 19.5; 2 Crawley 19.5; 3 Ashford 19; 4 Herts Phoenix 16; 12 Serpentine 8.
Kingston & Polytechnic must wait to find out whether their women will follow their men in being relegated.
The bottom four usually go down and, after coming equal third in their final Division One match at Harrow, Kingston finished 13th in the 16-team table.
“It depends on how may senior division teams there are next season,” said Kings-ton & Polytechnic official Dave Barrington.
“It has been a disappointing few weeks for us.
“Our men were relegated in the British Athletics League and we failed to retain the Rosenheim Shield.”
Result: 1 Peterborough 81; 2 Harrow 77; 3= Blackheath & Bromley and Kingston & Polytechnic 73.
Sutton & District slipped from third to fifth in the league table after finishing third in their final match at Bedford.
Result: 1 Havering Mayesbrook 96.5; 2 Luton United 90; 3 Sutton & District 73.5; 4 Bedford & County 71.
Herne Hill were third in their final match at Harrow, to finish eighth overall.
Result: 1 Nene Valley 96; 2 Enfield & Haringey 92; 3 Herne Hill 70; 4 Bexley 59.
