Teddington-based Kingston Royals Dragon Boat Club have ended the 2009 season on a high note after winning the final league fixture in London Docklands.
In the races held on Sunday, the crew completed a hat trick of victories in the Open 200m, Open 500m and Women's events.
It was a good trip to East London for the club's second crew, the Kingston Pretenders.
They finished well in front of all other second crews as they stormed to a top ten position.
The results mean that Kingston finish second in the British Dragon Boat Association Premier League for the second year in a row. The Kingston Pretenders came sixth in the Standard League, the highest position achieved by a second crew.
The club's paddlers, drummers and helms are now preparing for the National Championships in Nottingham this weekend (3 & 4 October).
“This weekend's result is the perfect preparation for the National Championships,” said Club Chairman Steve Lewis.
“We're in top form and the races can't come soon enough. This Sunday is also the club's twenty-first birthday, so we're hoping to have a double reason to celebrate.”
