Collingwood AC’s Allan Rumbles finished 14th out of 59 runners at the JW 30-mile ultra marathon along the canal towparth from Stratford-upon-Avon to Bournville, near Birmingham.
Rumbles clocked four hours 32 minutes 28 seconds.
Meanwhile, Collingwood’s relay team of Ruth Cottam (1:25.53), Annette Helliwell (1:44.22) and Nicky Stevenson (1:14.35) finished 14th of 25 teams, and third women’s team, in a relay held over three legs of 10 miles each on the same course.
Collingwood’s Dave Ross finished 12th in Sunday’s New Forest Marathon in three hours four minutes 49 seconds.
Other Collingwood runners were Steve Cooney in 69th (3:31.30), Bill Walsh 76th (3:32.55 PB), Allan Rumbles 86th (3:35.31), Melanie Johnstone 173rd and Annette Helliwell 444th.
