Membership of the South London Volleyball League, centred on Richmond College and Tiffin Boys Sports Centre in Kingston, has grown to 260 players.
Now in its second year, 200 adult players make up 23 teams, with 60 junior players forming six teams.
Richmond Volleyball chairman David Rijvers said: “We are realising our vision of being one of the outstanding volleyball and community sport clubs in the country.
“Our plan is to put more volleyball courts in Richmond and Kingston which will allow us to expand both our adult and junior programmes.”
