At the Epsom 10k, Sutton Runners had four finishers, with Martin Giles finishing fastest in ninth position in a time of 36:15.
He was followed by Martin Newton in 14th place with a time of 37:50 with Steve Wise (40m 37s) in 30th place and Penny Hubbard managing 49m 09s in 103rd place.
Jim Mundy finished 32nd in his 201st marathon last weekend, completing the Isle of Wight event in three hours 49 minutes eight seconds.
Up in Scotland, at the Loch Ness Monster Marathon, husband and wife team Fiona and Bryan Park managed finishes of 3hr 31m 07s and 3hrs 47m 08s respectively with Bryan’s being a PB.
They were joined by clubmate Mark Wingham who managed 3hr 32m 05s.
Over at the SEAA Crystal Palace 10km Andrew Nippard, returning from injury, finished in 24th position in 36 minutes 50 seconds.
At the local parkrun 5Km event at Banstead Woods on Saturday morning Sutton Runners had 11 finishers with Louise Sinfield managing a personal best time of 31m 05s. Fastest Sutton Runner home was Steven Barber who finished 6th in 19m 01s.
