A local golf club is offering a deal which will help golfers to stay on the fairways during the economic downturn.
For October 2009 only, golfers who join Hampton Court Palace Golf Club, based in Kingston upon Thames, will get 15 months’ membership for the price of 12 – three free months of golf.
And since Hampton Court Palace Golf Club is part of Crown Golf, the UK’s largest golf club operator, golfers taking up this offer will also be able to play complimentary golf on over 50 other golf courses in the UK.
Matthew Hazelden, general manager at Hampton Court Palace GC, said: “This is a major departure for us, and three free months is a significant offer – most keen golfers will play over twenty times during that period.
“We like to think that at Hampton Court Palace Golf Club we move with the times, and with the needs of our members, who are our first priority.
“The autumn is a great time to join a golf club – you can set yourself a target to improve during the off-season, and come the spring time you’ll be bang on form and ready to win some trophies!
"We always have a great atmosphere here during the autumn and winter months, and we hope that this very attractive offer will enable us to give a warm welcome to many new members this month.”
Hampton Court Palace Golf Club is part of the Crown Golf group, the UK's largest golf club owner/operator with 31 properties and 54 golf courses in its portfolio.
