Tooting policeman Ben Whitby was a comfortable winner of the South of England 10km road running title at Crystal Palace on Sunday.
He clocked 31:37 to beat Serpentine’s Nick Torry (32:04). Belgrave’s John Kimaiyo (34:37) and Malachi Byansi (35:57) were 13th and 17th, with Herne Hill’s Deron Fagan 20th (36:28).
Clapham Chasers’ Justina Heslop (35:18) was women’s winner ahead of Dacorum & Tring’s Hannah Walker (36:29).
