Seven Leatherhead Swimming Club swimmers gained qualification times for the Surrey Championships at the Surrey qualifier meet at Guildford Spectrum.
The swimmers who battled it out to earn themselves entry times were 9 year old Rachel McArthur (200 IM, 3:40.28), 10 year old Rheanna Cottam (50m backstroke, 42.52s), 13 year old Rachel Dunne (50m backstroke, 37.16s), 13 year old Shayree Davda (50m freestyle, 32.85s), 13 year old Ben King (100m freestyle, 1:07.66), 14 year old Andrew Dickinson (100m freestyle, 1:04. 23) and 15 year old Iona Doig (100 IM, 1:16.76).
This brings the total number of Leatherhead Swimmers competing in the County championships to 35. The event will be held over four weekends in February and March.
