Sutton Runners had 19 finishers at the Valentines 10km Road Race held by 26.2 RRC in Chessington last weekend, writes Tony Gallagher.
Among a field of 545, they were led home by Steven Barber, who was 18th in a personal best 35 minutes, 50 seconds. Jenny Sinfield was their first woman in a PB 43.42 and Sutton finished as third women’s team.

Paul Piper finished 91st in the Bramley 10-mile race (1:20.02).
Marathon man Jim Mundy completed Saturday’s London Ultra 31-mile race in less than five hours.
Sutton Runners taking part in 5km parkrun events were: Banstead Woods: 75 Andre De Oliveira 27.22, 79 Chris Homewood 27.43, 89 Kaye Benjamin.
Richmond Park: 43 James Barber 22.02, 45 Steven Barber 22.03.
