Richmond Bowling Club had two good results in the Surrey County Inter-Club League last weekend.
In an away match at Egham, Richmond won 2-1, but lost 73-49 on overall scoring because of one disastrous rink, meaning they got only eight of the available 18 league points.
The rink of Mike Hickman, David Evans, Brian Bennett and Darren King won 22-16.
There were no such issues on Sunday as Richmond won all three rinks against Croydon for an overall 77-49 success.
The biggest margin came from Peter Hickman, David Todd, Jim Burns and Darren King, who won 30-9.
In the club over-60 singles, Mike Rigby beat Phil Gregory 22-19.
