Liam White and Alex Robinson finished together in the joint men’s U17/U20 race in Lloyd Park on Saturday.
The Hercules Wimbledon teenagers took gold medals in their respective championships, having stuck to a pre-arranged race plan to finish the 6.5km event side-by-side in 26 minutes, 15 seconds.
White is the first Hercules winner of the U17 race, while Dave Clarke was the last U20 winner back in1978.
Jordan Maurice (28:15) was sixth in the U17 race, leading Herne Hill Harriers to bronze silver medals.
U17 teams: 1 Windsor Slough Eton & Hounslow 60, 2 Herne Hill 71.
Herne Hill’s Katie Snowden was the U17 winner (19:20) and beaten by just one runner in the combined U17/U20 race.
Other leading U17 finishers: 2 Helen Wilson (South London Harriers) 19.32, 3 Hannah Edwards (Herne Hill) 20.02, 5 Maddie Garner (St Mary’s Richmond) 21.21, 6 Emer Kerr (Sutton & District) 21.46.
The U20 winner was Aldershot’s Catherine Turner (19:16) ahead of Kingston Polytechnic’s Maddy Hardwick (19:40) and Herne Hill’s Julia Wedmore (20:36).

Herne Hill provided the first two finishers in the boys U13 race, with Merhawi Tesfaldet Yemane (13:20) a runaway winner in 13:20 from Lascelles Hussey (14:06).
Hercules Wimbledon’sCassian Hyde was edged out of a medal in the closing stages, finishing fourth (14:17).

Epsom & Ewell’s Lucy Drummond took the individual bronze medal in the girls’ U13 championship in 14:59 after a close race with Aldershot’s Katie Shiel-Rankin (14:44) and Leigh Chapman (14:54).
