Ewell-based Gino Rea has enjoyed a successful testing weekend ahead of his first World Supersport race at Phillip Island in Australia.
He finished Monday’s final session just over two seconds adrift of the quickest rider.
“There has been lots to learn in a short space of time,” said Rea.
“So much of the circuit is blind and there are lots of technical things to it.
“I know we can be faster so I am looking forward to bettering my lap times come race weekend.”
