Twickenham-based Tony Jardine has linked up with F1 journalist Maurice Hamilton in Rallye Sunseeker, the opening round of the MSA National Gravel Championship starting in Bournemouth today.
Their ProSpeed team came to the rescue with a rally care at the final minute after the one Jardine had planned to use was sold days before entry for the event closed.
It has allowed Jardine and Hamilton to be reunited two years after their successful exploits at the Donegal International Rally when they finished 35th overall.
Jardine said: “I think this will be my 20th event in Bournemouth.”
