More than 100 young runners took part in Richmond’s trials to represent the borough at this year’s London Mini Marathon.
The route was a 4.6km run through Sidmouth Wood, and the trial was organised by Richmond Council’s, Sports Development Team, in partnership with Ranelagh Harriers and St Mary’s Richmond Athletic Club to test the runners’ endurance.
The top eight runners from each of the six races which were held have now qualified to represent Richmond upon Thames in the Virgin London mini marathon on Sunday, April 25.
