Epsom Ladies got back to winning ways on Saturday with a 4-1 win over bottom side Rover Oxford in Women’s South Premier Division One.
Fiona Bettesworth gave them a 10th-minute lead from a penalty corner and new player-coach Sue MacDonald, the former GB forward, converted a rebound from Bettesworth’s corner rocket to make it 2-0.
Sammie Archer grabbed a third before half-time and, although Oxford pulled one back, McDonald’s second goal effectively finished the contest.
Epsom visit ninth-placed Woking this weekend.
