Epsom District Swim Club had their best ever start to the annual Surrey County Championships, picking up more medals in the first two weekends than in the whole competition last year.
Chief coach Adam Mason said: “All the hard work in the pool has started to pay dividends.
"Our swimmers have had some outstanding performances, picking up six gold, three silver and three zronze medals already.”
Medals so far: Gold – Sam Atkinson (15 and over) 1,500m freestyle, 800m freestyle; Robert Hegarty (10yrs) 200m butterfly, 200m backstroke; Nathalie Richards (13yrs) 200m butterfly, 1,500m freestyle.
Silver – Nathalie Richards 800m freestyle; Arthur Hogarth 1,500m freestyle, 800m freestyle.
Bronze – Ella Kenway (9yrs) 200m backstroke; Robert Hegarty 100m individual medley; Sam Atkinson 400m freestyle.
