Richmond Gymnastics Association claimed a record haul of medals in the recent London Regional Championships.
The Dagenham event saw Richmond’s tumblers take home three gold, two silver and two bronze medals to confirm their placing as one of the capital’s premier groups.
A special mention must go to eight-year-olds Erin Cavanagh and Taylor Ziegenfus, who emerged triumphant in the Prep A and B categories, along with fellow gold-medal winning women’s pair Tallulah Evans and Emily Berry.
Head of tumbling Kath Small said: “Our youngest tumblers did very well to win a host of gold and silvers and they all look promising gymnasts for the future.
“It was also the first time Richmond have won the two highest-scoring trophies at the Prep level so a special well done to both Erin and Taylor.”
