Hounslow girls finished fifth in the indoor finals of the Balfour Beatty London Youth Games.
They were beaten by eventual winners Bexley in the quarter-finals, but bounced back to beat Brent in their fifth-placed play-off.
Team manager Jo Valks said: “The team is from five different schools so they they have learnt a lot about teamwork.
“We have been training once a week since December. Normally, we’d call that it for the year. But we’ve arranged another training session for next week.
"We’ll try and get more girls involved so that next year we will have a team that is playing regularly and hopefully, we can win it!”
