Westcroft Judo Club won five medals at the British Schools Championships in Sheffield on Saturday.
Matty Sexton led the way with a silver medal and there were bronzes for Alex Mack, Samuel Mabbott, Joey Fowler and Tim Philip Ebel.
Jordan Mulley and Francis de Lima both took fifth places and another medal hope, Christian Millottte, was forced to withdraw through injury.
Other Westcroft competitiors: Elliott Williams, Alex Roe, Charlie Clarke, Mitch Kayne, Jake Took.
Westcroft’s Peter Vincent has been selected to represent Britain at a top cadet ranking event in the Czech Republic.
It follows his convincing performance at the Kendal team GB trials last weekend.
The current England number two cadet at U73kg, Vincent will also represent England at Lugi in Sweden and Venray in Holland, as well as heading to Italy for an England training camp in August.
