Alex Higham, of Windymilla-Maxifuel, was a comfortbale winner of the Peter Young Memorial Road Race held by Hounslow & District Wheelers on Sunday.
Higham completed the 85-mile event in three hours, 19 minutes, 40 seconds, finishing 25 seconds clear of nearest rival Ben Luckwell, of Willier/Bigmaggys.
Last year’s winner, Sigma Sport’s Gary Dodd, had to settle for 16th this time around.
Sam Parker was third, leading home a healthy contingent from Team Zappi’s.
