Ranelagh Harriers ended their winter season with Saturday’s three-mile Baker Cup handicap race, which was celebrating its 100th birthday.
Anna Mallett won the event, finishing 20 seconds ahead of Kirsty Bangham, with Jar O’Brien third.
Fastest times: 1 Peter Haarer 15.38, 2 Niall O’Connor 17.18, 3 Ted Mockett 18.23. Fastest women: 1 Marie Synnott-Wells 18.56, 2 Sandra Prosser 21.17, 3 Louise Piears 21.22.
Pete Killingley finished third in Sunday’s Cranleigh 21-mile race (2:05.30), with Marie Synnott-Wells third in the women’s race (2:30.46). Karen Weir was third woman in the shorter Cranleigh 15-mile event (1:55.24).
