Richmond and Wandsworth took team titles in the Virgin London Mini Marathon over the final three miles of course from Old Billingsgate to The Mall.

Richmond won the boys’ 13-14 race. Tim Livingtone (16 minutes, 33 seconds), was second, helping Wandsworth to sixth team place.

Tim Holden, left out of Sutton’s team because he did not race in the trials, was fifth in the 13-14 regional race.

Wandsworth’s success came in the girls’ 13-14 race.

Josie Savill (19:28) was thrid in the girls’ 11-12 race, the position her borough Richmond took in the team race.

Wandsworth were second, led by seventh-placed Natalija Wollnys (19:51).

Grace O’Leary, representing Kensington & Chelsea having, like Holden, been left out by Sutton, was runner-up in the girls’ 15-17 race in 17:48, five seconds behind the winner.

Sutton were second in the boys’ 11-12 race.
