Cheam Bowls Club remained in contention for the New Surrey League and Racal Decca Mixed League titles after victories last weekend.
They ran out 85-45 winners over Magdalen Park to earn maximum points in the New Surrey League. Gareth McDonagh’s rink won by 17 shots and John Parsons’s rink by 15. Eamon Nolan’s rink was closer but four shots at the 14th and 17th ends gave them a cushion.

Di Hannon’s rink with Pat Callaghan, Peter Pankhurst and Chas Smith won by 24 shots to help Cheam to a 73-38 victory over Cuddington in the Racal Decca League.
