Barnes tennis junior Jonathan Cornish crashed out in the semi-finals of the Sweden Junior Open doubles at the weekend.
The Essex-born 16-year-old and partner Evan Hoyt lost 10-7 in a deciding match tie-break to eventual champions Andre Goransson and Andre Buckland having levelled the scores at 4-6 6-4.
The Number two seeds had beaten Robin Haden and Erik Johnsson in the quater-finals having eased past Jesper Carnestedt in the opening round.
