Surrey have gone unbeaten in home friendlies this year after beating Nottinghamshire 136-91 at Chipstead Bowls Club last week.
They finished with eight wins and a draw in satisfying fashion against a county which has held the over hand in these fixtures over the years.
Surrey’s top performing rink was Gary Stevens (Cheam), John Tucker (Purley Bury), Brian Cave (Ewell) and Bill Ayling (Wallington) who won 30-12.
Overall this year, county president Deric Homes has won 14, drawn one and lost three of his 18 matches.
