Ollie Millroy took fourth and seventh places in rounds 17 and 18 of the Formula Renault UK Championship at Silverstone last weekend.
Millroy had been determined to put on a good show in front of crowds of more than 1,000 for the World Series hosted by Renault programme.
He said: “I had a good weekend considering the few little issues we had.
“I was struggling to keep the car on the track in race 2, so seventh was good in that round.
“The car felt like a 600kg kart with a rear brake, they just locked up every time I hit the brakes.
It was a great weekend o be along side Eurocup and World Series is great and I hope to be stepping up to those Formulas soon.”
