Addington Court Golf Centre in Croydon has given its nine-hole golf course a new look, and along with announcing a new deal for visiting golfers.
The new deal means cheaper green fees for larger groups of players. For example, four golfers playing a round of golf together will now pay less per head than just two golfers playing together. Prices start from £7 per person.
This new structure favours the people that the popular local club is targeting to try out the sport – beginners and families. Addington Court’s par-3 nine-hole course is the ideal location for less experienced golfers to learn the game.
It is also great for seasoned golfers, who want to squeeze a quick round of golf into their busy weeks.
The golf club has introduced new fairway cuts, new tee positions and new flag positions, to improve the golf course for beginners.
Clint Whittaker, General Manager of Addington Court Golf Centre said: “We have been planning for some time to give the nine-hole course a face lift, and we are hoping that our new green fee ‘sliding scale’ will enable more people to take advantage of the investment we have made in the course.
“The course takes about an hour and a half to complete, and I would say that it is the best value for money short golfing experience in the Croydon area.
“Our new mantra for the course is: “The more who play, the less you pay”, and we are really hoping to see a large number of people taking advantage of the new green fee structure. That goes for old friends, as well as for people new to the club.”
