Tadworth Athletics Club’s David Freeman was the convincing winner of the Epsom 10k on Sunday.
He clocked 35 minutes seven seconds to finish 35 seconds clear of second place, with clubmates Paul O’Callaghan third (35.47) and Pat Wright sixth (36.27).
Other Tadworth runners: 17 Garry Edwards 39.54, 28 James Fuller 42.38.
Geoff Newton won the men’s over-60 class at the Dry Hill 10-mile race over a challenging multi-terrain course at Lingfield.
He was 10th overall (1:09.19), with clubmate Stephen Robinson 70th (1:39.30).
Sutton-based Dave Williamson finished 3,931 out of more than 43,00 runners in Sunday’s Berlin Marathon, clocking 3:21.10.
Roland Hogg was 14,753rd in 3:59.50.
