Laura Robson made it into the main draw of the WTA Toray Pan Pacific Open ladies' singles this week before bowing out in the first round proper.
The Wimbledon-based player beat Simona Halep 2-6, 6-2, 6-4 to progress from the qualifying rounds before losing 6-4, 6-3 to Hungarian Greta Arn at the first stage of the full competition.
