Epsom Downs’ Racecourse completes its season with a flourish this Saturday.

Author Francis Beckett will be at Epsom to sign his new book Firefighters and the Blitz for racegoers in the Queen’s Stand.

Meanwhile, 500 tickets are being donated to the charity, Tickets for Troops in Support of the Armed Forces. Tickets for Troops is an organisation dedicated to offering free tickets for events to soldiers, sailors and airmen, past and present.

Sibling quartet Stringfever who perform at the Epsom Playhouse on Monday 8th November will be giving racegoers a sneak preview of their fabulous act before and after racing in the Duchess’s Stand at 1pm and then again immediately following the last race.

The course is celebrating the event, which lso marks the end of the Tompkins & May Partnership Derby Series – by providing a local offer on tickets for residents living in Epsom and the surrounding area.

By quoting Epsom1 when booking tickets in advance on the website or by phone, residents will receive a buy one get one free on tickets for the day.

The promotion also includes a free glass of champagne with advance bookings in the Blue Riband Restaurant and 50 per cent off the ticketholder’s first drink in the Queen Stand’s Mezzaine Bar (beer, wine and champagne only).
