ollingwood’s Allan Rumbles finished in third place after completing the Hardmoors 114-mile ultramarathon in 28 hours and 58 minutes and won £20 for his efforts.
Twenty five entrants started the run at 5pm on Saturday, running overnight along the Cleveland Way National Trail passing along the North Yorkshire Moors and the Cleveland Heritage coastline.
Competitors had 36 hours in which to complete the trail race, finishing in Filey and 11 out of the 25 managed to finish.
Four Collingwood members ran in two relay teams to complete the JW Ultramarathon, running 30 miles in 3 stages from Stratford-Upon-Avon, finishing at Bournville.
Team A: Ruth Cottam Leg 1 - 10 miles in 1:27:17: Annette Helliwell Legs 2 & 3 - 20 miles in 3:27:17.
Team B: Alison Fox Leg 1 - 10 miles in 1:46:41: Nicky Stevenson Legs 2 & 3 - 20 miles in 2:36:47.

Croydon Striders Switchback five-mile race: Richard Fox 32:15, Martin Lloyd 33:11, Nicky Stevenson 40:13, Ruth Cottam 44:19, Annette Helliwell 46:39, Rupert Quested 51:20, Maja Mosegaard 52:41. Martin Lloyd won the first veteran male 50 prize.
