Super skiers: The girls who represented Lady Eleanor Holles School in Welwyn
The U16 ski teams from The Lady Eleanor Holles School, Hampton, started the season with confident performances at the ESSKIA Regional Qualifying competition in Welwyn.
The A team of Amelia Ruiz, Laetitia Hawkins, Josephine Ruiz and Georgia McGregor won the U16 section and qualified for the nationals in Rossendale in October.
The less experienced B team – Poppy Gilbert, Natasha Melunsky, Taya Jackson and Elizabeth Radford – managed fourth place.
