Basketball fans are in for a real treat when players from reigning NBA champions Los Angeles Lakers and Minnesota Timberwolves will be showing their skills off during the NBA Fan Zone event at National Theatre, South Bank this weekend.
From 11am each day, fans will get the opportunity to meet and greet their favourite Lakers and Timberwolves as well as NBA Legends former GB International John Amaechi, James Worthy and Robert Horry.
Also making an appearance will be The Laker Girls, the acrobatic NBA Fan Patrol and ‘Crunch’ the Minnesota Timberwolves mascot.
Last year former Brixton Topcats player Luol Deng, along with his Chigago Bulls team-mates participated in a similiar event 'Take to the Courts' at a packed Clapham Common.
Both sides will then play eachother in a NBA Europe LIVE exhibition game this Monday evening at The O2, North Greenwich. ESPN will televise the game from 7pm.
