Wimbledon Corinthians Cricket Club topped the Ram Surrey Cricket League Premiership in their first season in the top division following a crushing 205-run final game victory over John Fisher CC.
Knowing that a win would hand them the title, WCCC, batting first, put on a very competitive 260-9, with Nadeeka Victor (58) and Dean De Coning (54) both hitting half centuries.
Taking to the field, WCCC continued their dominance to take the title in double quick time, bowling John Fisher out for just 58 in only 11 overs. De Coning capped a fine display with figures of four for 24.
The title win was built on a perfect second half of the season, following a disappointing start.
