Surrey Lions players Kevin Pietersen, Chris Tremlett and Steve Davies have helped to support the launch of tickets for this summer’s FPt20 competition.
Pietersen and Tremlett, currently playing for England at the ICC World Cup in India, and Davies feature on a mocked up poster promoting Surrey’s eight home games in this season’s competition.
Tremlett, who took the final wicket of the last Test as England retained the Ashes Down Under, said: “The FPt20 is one of my favourite forms of cricket - it’s fast-paced and entertaining and with only a couple of hours on the pitch, it keeps the players and fans on their toes. Added to that, we have fantastic new talent coming through for fans to support.”
For the seven games at the Kia Oval, tickets are £25 on match day or £15-£20 (plus booking fee) if bought in advance.
The exception is the clash with Sussex Sharks at Whitgift School, Croydon, on Monday, July 4. Tickets for that game are expected to go quickly and are all priced £25.
Surrey’s home t20 games: June: Thurs 2 Gloucestershire, Fri 10 Glamorgan, Mon 13 Essex, Thurs 23 Middlesex, Thurs 30 Somerset. July: Mon 4 Sussex (Whitgift School), Fri 8 Hampshire, Thurs 14 Kent.
