Sutton Bowling Club beat their Royal Household counterparts in the first match between the teams since 1936 on Monday.
The visiting team from Windsor were on their way home after a short tour of Kent and called in Sutton as their final leg before heading home.
The game was played in good spirit on one of the hottest days of the year and Sutton, led by captain Dave Thomas, won by eight shots to record a memorable win over their rivals.
Sutton won on three rinks drew on one and lost on two.
The club’s Tony Wills said: “In all it was a very successful end to the day. It is just hoped that we do not have to wait another 75 years before we play them again.”
