New Malden's Melanie South has beaten former doubles partner Katie O'Brien to lift her first $25,000 doubles title in Nottingham - two months after they split.
The 20-year-old tennis professional swapped O'Brien for Karen Paterson and the new pairing won 6-2 2-6 7-6 in the Nottingham final against second seeds O'Brien and Estonian Margit Ruutel.
It made up for a disappointing performance for the British number two in the singles, where she fell at the first hurdle 2-6 3-6 to Sweden's world number 467 Nadja Roma.
South had further success with another partner, Rebecca Llewellyn, taking the doubles title in Nantes on Sunday, beating Sabine Lisick and Irean Pavlovic 6-2 6-0 in the final.
South had earlier bowed out in the first round of the $25,000 singles tournament.
