Rosslyn Park head coach Chris Kibble will be aiming for his first win when his side travel to Bridgwater & Albion in National Division Three South on Saturday.
Last season Park upset the form book with a resounding victory in Somerset that had the ground emptying well before the end.
They hope to welcome back the experienced Lee Gibson in the quest for maximum points in order to climb clear of the relegation zone.
Kibble will have been bouyed by a fighting second-half display against league leaders Southend at Priory Lane last Saturday.
Although Park eventually went down 41-24, the margin of victory does scant justice to a hard-fought encounter, with Southend's final two scores coming when Park had moved into all-out attack mode.
Park's cause was not helped when hooker Chris Small went off injured in the first minute.
Southend went ahead with an early penalty and added a 12th minute try through Edwards.
Park responded with a well-worked try from Niall Lear, converted by Richard Mahony.
Green went over for the visitors and, although Mahony notched a penalty during a period of Park pressure, Southend scored two further tries to take a 29-10 interval lead.
Park looked a different side after the break. The pack drove Adam Blemings over the line for a converted try before Rhys Lapidus darted through a gap to reduce the deficit to five points.
Park were eventually undone by their own ambition. A further try would mean at least a bonus point, as well as taking the lead.
But Southend were too well organised. In playing fast and loose, Park presented the visitors with two late tries which produced a flattering margin of victory.
