London Broncos forward Michael Robertson insists he is enjoying life at the Stoop despite the team having won only three games all season.
Robertson and Scott Wheeldon both signed new two year deals this week after Sunday’s 46-10 defeat at Huddersfield Giants.
“I’ve been really impressed since coming here, it’s a very professional club and I’ve enjoyed my time here so far,” said Robertson.
“We may not be meeting people’s expectations right now but I really believe that we can kick on for the rest of the season and that will put us in good stead going forward.”
Wheeldon joined from Hull KR back in May on a contract until the end of the season and his fine form has been rewarded with a further two years in the capital.
The prop added: “I was delighted to get it signed. I’ve enjoyed playing down here, I’m playing every week and that’s what I came to do.”
Broncos head coach Rob Powell added: “Scott’s been a great addition since signing, he’s one of our most consistent performers “Michael has been a great influence around the squad since he’s been here.”
