Leaders Cobham won their fourth consecutive league game in style by hammering local rivals Old Paulines 46-0 away on Saturday and now look forward to a cup game at home to Dorking this Saturday, writes Tony Maddocks.
The half back combination of Spencer Franks and Dan Taylor controlled the game, and Franks scored the first of Cobham's eight tries in the opening minutes.
The Cobham forwards were also in top form, Matt Hahn dominating the centre of the lineout, and the back row of Gavin Hart, Jack Davison and James Green being superb throughout.
Davison scored two tries and Hart one, while others came from Mark Bennett, Ben Stonehill, Pete Hinchcliffe and Charlie Kempton. James Oliver kicked three conversions.
This is Cobham's most successful start to a season for many years.
Cobham: Sutton, Green, Oliver, Hinchcliffe, Stonehill (Kempton); Taylor, Franks (Flower); Lee, Bennett, Bright (Taylor), Hahn, Keyser, Green, Davison (captain), Hart.
