Rosslyn Park slumped to the bottom of the table after losing 30-3 at Bridgwater & Albion last Saturday and can expect no sympathy from neighbours London Scottish, who they visit in the cup this Saturday (3pm).
The Scots, coached by former Park rugby manager Terry O'Connor, are flying high at the top of London One, the division below Park.
Park found themselves eight points adrift of the safety zone after a nightmare weekend in which neither of the regular half back pairing was available and hooker Chris Small had joined a growing injury list.
The match at Bridgwater started with a strong wind whipping torrential rain into Park's faces. But they dug deep and trailed only 10-3 at the interval to a converted try by Nick Holt and a penalty from full-back Lloyd.
Richard McKeown, who had kicked Park's penalty from 40 metres, missed with another attempt early in the second-half.
Tony Paul was then adjudged to have obstructed an opponent off the ball and was shown the yellow card. From the penalty, the ball was worked across the Bridgwater line and right wing Griffiths cruised in past the short-handed defence.
Griffths added another try soon afterwards and then left winger Edwards danced through the Park defence to complete the scoring.
Park: King; Lear, Brading, McKeown, Ridley; Paul; M Jackson (McCluggage); Daw, Blemings, Wells (Gamble); Forster (Ryan), Gibson; Cable, McGuckian, Street. Sub not used: Kearns.
