Epsom College fifth-former Gareth Blease is a step closer to realising his dream of playing professional golf, having been selected to represent Wales at U16 level.
Gareth, who plays off a handicap of three, is involved in coaching sessions with the Welsh squad and will take part in representative matches next year.
Gareth started playing seriously at the age of 11 and plays for Coombe Hill Golf Club's men's first team.
Epsom College help Gareth to balance his sport and school commitments and he plays at Epsom Golf Club on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Gareth hopes to enter a top American golfing university and make his fortune as a professional golfer.
He said: "It has been my dream to play in the Masters since I saw Tiger Woods win in 2001, so hopefully I will get to fulfil this dream."
