Rosslyn Park will be hoping Saturday's 33-9 National Trophy success at London Scottish will kick-start their season.
They host Clifton in a vital National Division Three South relegation battle on Saturday (2.30pm).
The Bristol side, like Park, have made a shocking start to the season, but the return of their influential fly-half John Barnes from injury saw him contribute 25 points to their first league victory in their last match against high-flying Lydney.
Park were relieved that their own injury victim, Jon Underwood, came through his second half appearance as a replacement last weekend unscathed and he could start at Priory Lane this weekend.
While the margin of Park's victory was comprehensive, they were still not entirely convincing against a virtual second-string Scottish side.
The home side conceded a string of early penalties and Richard McKeown kicked two penalties.
Then, after Tony Paul kicked to the corner, Lee Gibson caught the throw and was driven over the line. McKeown's magnificent touchline conversion made it 13-0.
Jamie Whelan kicked two penalties for Scottish to reduce the arrears before half-time, but another McKeown kick made it 16-6 at the break.
Scottish started the second half believing they could win it and a drop goal from fly-half put them back within a score.
But that was as good as it got for the hosts as Park began to dominate again and Cliff Street, Adam Blemings and Richard Jackson scored further tries to give them a convincing victory.
Park: King; Lear (Traynor), McKeown, Ridley, R Jackson; Paul; McCluggage; Daw, Blemings, Wells (Drayson); Ryan, Gibson; McGuckian (Blankley), Rodman, Street (Underwood).
